The Mountains

The northwest edge of the Delmundo valley climbs into broken hills and majestic peaks. Valleys within these mountains shelter small communities of miners, hunters, and trappers. These small towns and villages are often dominated by a single family, which owns a number of mines in the surrounding area. Often these families are allied to one of the merchant families of the city-states, and can call on this family for arms and mens in times of extreme need.

Beyond the mountains, the land descends into uncultivated and largely trackless forests. Little is known of the beasts, spirits, and demons who dwell amongst these ancient trees.
