Murder at the Greydog Inn

First Run - Edinburgh, 19th July 2008

The Greydog Inn is heaving. Couples flirt, warriors boast, merchants barter, Lunars and Orlanthi glower at each other over their mead. Just another typical night. But death walks the darkness, and foul murder is uncovered. The clan honour has been tarnished, and the guilty must be found before the killer strikes again...

"Murder at the Greydog Inn" is a 16 player, 3 hour freeform. Written by Graham Robinson, based on characters and setting from "Tales of the Reaching Moon #18 & #20".

Although "Murder" is set in Glorantha, no previous knowledge is assumed or needed to play. The casting questionnaire might be easier to fill in if you know that the Greydogs and Goodswords are fiercely independent, storm and earth worshipping barbarians; that they are currently ruled by the mighty Lunar Empire, who worship more civilised, complex gods; and that the Sundomers are Lunar allies, who follow a strict and paternalistic Solar diety.

The game will run on Saturday 19th July, roughly 2pm to 5pm. I'm not sure of venue just yet, but it'll be somewhere in Edinburgh...
